During a recent inspection in Wanaparthy district, Mr. Gautham, along with District Collector Adarsh Surabhi and other officials, assessed the progress of Indiramma House construction. The Telangana government has started the Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme to help homeless families get permanent houses. Indiramma Housing Scheme will build 4.5 lakh houses in the first phase with a budget of Rs. 22,000 Crore. Poor families who have their own land will get Rs. 5 Lakh as financial help in four parts to build their houses.
Each house will be at least 400 sq. ft. and will have an RCC roof, a kitchen, and a toilet. The government wants to make sure that poor people live in safe and comfortable homes.
